What are the commonly used materials for peristaltic pumps?

  1. PA66, also known as Polyamide or Nylon. A translucent, white or black crystalline polymeric polyamide resin. Resistant to common acids and alkalis, with high wear resistance and good mechanical strength. Often used as rollers in OEM peristaltic pumps, forming a roller assembly system with bearings and a wheel frame.
  2. ABS, or PC+ABS (engineering plastic alloy), also known as plastic alloy. Usually light yellow, milky white, or translucent. It has excellent impact resistance, heat resistance, and low-temperature resistance, while also being easy to process, having a high surface gloss, and dimensional stability. Suitable for making the housing of complete peristaltic pump sets.
  3. PC, also known as Polycarbonate. Colorless and transparent with a high refractive index, it has good impact resistance, heat resistance, and dielectric properties, but is limited by its poor resistance to ultraviolet light, strong alkalis, and easy surface abrasion. Primarily used as the cover for OEM peristaltic pumps.
  4. Stainless steel is a commonly used mechanical material with good corrosion resistance, heat resistance, and mechanical properties. In the peristaltic pump industry, it is mainly used in two ways: one is as rollers in a complete peristaltic pump assembly, and the other is for the outer casing of a complete peristaltic pump assembly. Generally, 304 stainless steel is the primary material, but in highly corrosive environments, 316L material is required.
