A peristaltic pump with a built-in pump housing mainly has three functions:
1. Start-stop liquid delivery: The peristaltic pump is always on standby. Press the start button to start running and press the stop button to stop. This is suitable for the delivery requirements of laboratories or medical institutions. The operation of the peristaltic pump is entirely determined by the start and stop control method, while the flow rate and delivery speed remain basically constant. A foot switch can be used to control start and stop, freeing up your hands.
2. Timed delivery: Timed delivery achieves the purpose of delivery by controlling the running time of the peristaltic pump. A start signal is given to the peristaltic pump, and it will run for a fixed period of time, automatically stopping afterward. For example, a 10-minute timer will cause the peristaltic pump to run for 10 minutes after receiving the start signal, and then automatically stop.
3. Filling and delivery: The filling mode allows you to set the running and stopping times of the peristaltic pump, causing it to run continuously. The number of runs can be set. This is suitable for beverage machinery, water treatment, and pharmaceutical production lines. Combined with infrared control and assembly line control, it can be widely used for automated liquid addition in batch production lines.
